I go with the "low-tech" solution. Talking about dumb phone! That's what I have. I can make and recieve calls. not much more. I get 3 days battery life and have dropped it way more than once. It has character now.

hehe - Hey Scott! Believe me I considered it. It all came down to 2 things... I couldn't get reception on the XV6800 a lot of places. It was the phone because my wife would be beside me and able to make calls when mine would drop or lose signal. Second, the Internet cost just was too much for me. At the end of the day, I was paying more for Internet on my cell phone than I am at the house! If a certain company that we have in common would pick up the check for the data, I would have kept it.

What you REALLY need, Aaron, is a phone that is actually smart. Not a smartphone, but a phone that is smart. You know, like an iPhone.... :-)
